Senior Government Executive Forum
Each year, the AFCEA Bethesda Emerging Leaders (formerly Young AFCEA) Senior Government Executive Forum brings together senior and emerging government IT leaders with industry to examine innovative technologies and strategies used to create a secure, modern, and responsive enterprise. The 2021 event will focus on the theme of Embracing Change and Transformation.
The Senior Government Executive Forum will also feature the presentation of AFCEA Bethesda’s InnovateIT Awards. The 2021 InnovateIT Awards program will recognize individuals or teams who exhibit qualities of successful leadership across the following areas: security, automation and modernization.
The program will also recognize the Government Innovation Leader of the Year and the Industry Innovation Leader of the Year -- two individuals who have exemplified outstanding management to drive forward innovative initiatives that advance the mission of their organizations or the state of federal IT. An Emerging Leader Award (aged 40 or younger) will be given to a rising star within the government leadership community based on similar success in the above areas.
